The normal evaluation season is April 1 through June 30th.
~Two types of evaluations are available (usually completed in my home*)
Short Form Evaluations** - One page evaluation that is completed during the evaluation interview. Includes a list of required questions and a short summary of the school year.
Detailed Evaluations** - More descriptive evaluation, which includes a detailed summary of the courses completed.
(**Parents are required to complete an Evaluation Worksheet for each student. Worksheet is sent with the information package. You can also download a copy from the forms page of this website.)
* Travel Evaluations are available on a very limited basis. For locations more than 15 miles from my Harrisburg home, a minimum of three families per trip is required. I will also do group evaluations at a single location. Contact me early to schedule travel evaluations.
*Online Evaluations option is also now available. For the online option, the samples and detailed Evaluation Worksheet will need to be uploaded to a google doc link which will be sent to you. Samples will need to be uploaded 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. A Zoom meeting link will be sent to conduct the interview part of the evaluation. Evaluations can be emailed or mailed to you after the interview is completed.

Short Form Version includes six of the subtests, including tests in Reading, Math, and Writing which meet the law requirements.
Additional subtests are available, including ones in science, social studies, and humanities.

Approval Letters for Objectives
Approval Letter for Objectives is needed for Special Needs students who have had an Individual Educational Plan (IEP) developed by the school. These students need their objectives approved and the letter is submitted to the school with the affidavit in the fall.
